Bill Weismann has devoted his professional career as an agent for social change. Beginning as a VISTA Volunteer in rural New Hampshire organizing low-income tenants and designing self-help services, he has worked for four decades with nonprofit organizations and public agencies seeking social justice.

From 1983 to 1994 Bill was Executive Director of three Oregon statewide membership based organizations. His experience included significant responsibility for grant writing, community collaboration, meeting facilitation, resource and membership development, strategic and program planning.

Since 1995 Bill’s consulting business, Grassroots NW, has served a diverse array of clients.  Bill is a skilled grantwriter, having secured more than $20 million in grant awards.  He is a member of Willamette Valley Development Officers and the Nonprofit Association of Oregon.
