SELF is Clark County, Washington’s early learning collaboration involving 20 community partners. Program elements – Ready Families, Ready Children and Ready Schools – prepare children for success in school and life.

Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc., Portland, Oregon

Mission: Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc. is dedicated to promoting success for women in the trades through education, leadership and mentorship.
Program elements include Pathways To Success (preparing women for a career in the trades), Trades Offer Girls Options gets girls ready TO GO for high-paying jobs in the skilled craft trades, Tradeswomen Organized for Outreach, Leadership and Support gives tradeswomen the TOOLS they need to advocate for women’s equal representation in the trades and the annual Women In The Trades Career Fair attended by more than 1,000 women and girls.

The Tualatin Riverkeepers is a community-based organization working to protect and restore Oregon’s Tualatin River system. The Tualatin Riverkeepers builds watershed stewardship through public education, access to nature, citizen involvement and advocacy.
Program elements include environmental education, streamside restoration,guided river trips and tours, and advocacy. For 17 years, Tualatin Riverkeepers have been introducing people to the Tualatin River through an annual Discovery Day and a series of summer paddle trips.
