Mission: The Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation works to secure a permanent home for the City of Portland’s steam locomotives and establish a Rail and Industrial Heritage Museum.
ORHF has completed a successful capital campaign and its new facility near OMSI houses its 3 heritage engines. The Grand Opening for the Oregon Rail Heritage Center was held in October 2012. The Doyle L. McCormack Enginehouse provides direct public access in addition to space for locomotive maintenance and restoration. When fully built with an interpretive center, the Center will be a living workroom to celebrate the history of rail and be a focal point for the new rail-industry hub surrounding OMSI.

“Bill’s experience and leadership helped ORHF raise nearly $200,000 in its 2011 community campaign, far above our original $100,000 goal. He respected our all-volunteer organization and helped build our website and social media capacity. His professional approach is just what we needed.”
